Two people with different cultural, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds connected by a blank piece of paper finding a common language through the drawing medium. Facing each other and each creating a piece driven by thoughts of the past, while giving permission to the other to access their thoughts and experiences and eventually having the ability to change them and influence their development and final form. Creating a piece of collective memory where changing, erasing and drawing over each other’s work is reflecting the way memories can be changed and influenced by the collective experience. This work reflects the new way of memory-making that is heavily influenced by our surroundings, media, and borrowed experiences which altogether form a piece of collective memory.
